Reset your HedgerX login and trading passwords
HedgerX has two passwords: a login password and a 6-digit trading password. Changing either locks crypto and fiat withdrawals for 24 hours.
Changing any password pauses withdrawals and payment functions for 24 hours. Plan a reset when you do not need to withdraw.
If you are logged in
- Open the Security Center. Click the profile icon at the top right and choose Security Center.
- Pick the password to change. Login password or trading password.
- Enter the new value. For the login password, enter the old and the new one. For the trading password, enter a new 6-digit PIN and the email verification code.
Forgot the login password
- On the login page, choose Forgot Password.
- Enter the email address or phone number you registered with and continue.
- Enter the verification code and a new password.
The system shows reminders along the way. Once the reset is done, log in and trade with the new password.

What counts as a strong password?
HedgerX requires 8 to 32 characters with a number, an uppercase letter and a special character, and advises against birthdays and names.
What else triggers a 24-hour withdrawal hold?
Resetting SMS or Google authentication, unlocking the account and changing the registered email. Unusual account activity can also suspend withdrawals.
