Why is my HedgerX asset frozen?
HedgerX lists four causes: abnormal trading activity, transactions linked to illegal activity, policy changes, and automated risk-control flags. In each case the next step is to contact support with identity and proof of funds.
The four causes
Abnormal trading activity. HedgerX’s examples are frequent large deposits and withdrawals, many small transactions in a short time, and logins from high-risk IP addresses. Contact support with identity verification, an explanation of your transactions and proof of funds such as deposit records.
Transactions linked to illegal activity. HedgerX’s list includes accounts tied to fraud or hacking and law-enforcement requests. Check whether the freeze was a mistake, and appeal with proof of legal fund sources such as bank statements.
Policy changes. HedgerX may suspend certain tokens or withdrawals, restrict users from certain countries, or run maintenance. Check the announcements and ask support whether your account is affected. If HedgerX no longer supports your region, move the assets to a supported platform.
Risk-control flags. Automated systems may flag unusual transactions, assets linked to high-risk wallets, or withdrawals to a wallet marked as suspicious. Contact HedgerX at once and bring every document you have.

How long does a freeze last?
HedgerX does not give a time. If the freeze follows a legal investigation, you may need to wait until the authorities finish.
What trading behaviour can trigger restrictions?
HedgerX names an excessive number of trades, opening and closing positions more than 10 times within 3 minutes, wash trading, trading between your own accounts, moving funds across accounts to manipulate trades, exploiting platform loopholes, and abusing rebates or commissions.
What can HedgerX do to an account it flags?
Cancel or freeze proceeds, deduct rebates and profits, restrict permissions, cancel orders, force liquidations or ban trading. HedgerX says severe cases may be reported to the authorities and that it keeps the final right of interpretation.
